Description

This was a fairly minor voting issue, but I recently married and changed my name. My name change was processed with the Fairfax County Office of Elections October 19, as confirmed by one of their staff members and their website. I even had my new voter registration card with me. When I went to vote, I was still listed by my old name. The poll workers said they had seen someone else have the same problem earlier in the day. I guess they print the name roster too far in advance of the election. The workers were friendly and helpful, and I was still able to vote despite the error.
