About the Map
TBD is a local news outlet for the District, Northern Virginia and Montgomery County and Prince George's County in Maryland. We're tracking your problems at the polls on election day. Why? We want to make it easier for you to plan your voting time - and we want to ensure we and other interested parties can account for (and follow up on) irregularities reported in the voting process across the D.C. area.
Submitting alerts or reports
You have three ways to submit a report to this map:
- Directly submitting a report to the map by clicking on Submit a Report at the top of the page
- Tweeting an alert with hashtags #dcvote, #mdvote or #vavote
- Emailing an alert at tbdtips@gmail.com
- Submitting a tip via TBD.com or on the TBD mobile apps.
* In every report and alert, be sure to tell us the poll location and the specific problem. Include a photo if you think it might help.
When reporting incidents on the site:
- The location, title and description are all that is required, though as much info as you can provide will help.
- To find the location on the map, either click the map where the poll location is or search in the box below the map for the location name and city name. Click on the map to drop the pin.
- If you have links to video, a story/blog post or photos of the incident, please feel free to include them.
